he project is located in Neos Kosmos, Athens, within a dense residential urban fabric characterized by continuous redevelopment and vertical housing expansion.

In this type of environment, architectural visualization plays a critical role in communicating integration of new developments within the existing city fabric, residential massing and scale in constrained urban plots, realistic street-level perception of architectural proposals, and pre-construction communication for real estate development projects.

Technical CGI Workflow (Legacy Visualization System)

The visualization methodology was based on three core principles that define VARC’s architectural CGI approach.

• Volumetric & Spatial Analysis: The geometric resolution of the corner plot required precise volumetric study to ensure correct massing, façade rhythm, and repetition of architectural elements such as balconies and structural grids. This level of spatial control is essential in architectural visualization for residential developments.
• Lighting Simulation (Athens Solar Conditions): Natural lighting conditions were simulated based on real Athenian solar behavior, including accurate sun positioning for Athens latitude, shadow depth behavior in dense urban streets, and material response under Mediterranean lighting conditions. This provided a realistic representation of how the building interacts with natural light throughout the day, aligned with modern architectural visualization workflows in Athens.
